A metamodernist performance set against the Brutalist architecture of London’s South Bank, drawing inspiration from the geometric Dazzle camouflage sported by early 20th century battleships. The piece is set to Stravinsky’s ‘Piano-Rag Music’ (1919), in which, according to Roman Vlad, “jazz elements are broken down and crushed to a pulp, then reassembled as if processed by a diabolical machine.”
